After The Upgrade: Reports

With The Upgrade, enterprise reporting will be consolidated in the new

  • Central location for UM Reports, UM Analytics, and enterprise PeopleSoft reports
  • Search reports by title, hover for more information
  • Star reports to save in My Favorites
  • Reporting Tools includes links to data warehouse web query tool, HRMS query viewer, EDMS, UM Analytics
  • PeopleSoft reports will have real-time information
  • Go to “Need Assistance” for FAQs, help, and more.

Things to Know about Reports

Access
If you have access to UM Reports today, you will automatically have access to the Reporting Center after The Upgrade.

Your Favorites
The list of reports on your current UM Reports home page will not transfer to the Reporting Center. Make a list of your Favorite UM Reports now so you can re-create them in the Reporting Center after The Upgrade.

Changes to Specific Reports
Some UM Reports are going away because they aren't frequently used or because the information is duplicated in other reports. Some reports will look different, including report name and content. To see if your reports will be affected, review the UM Report list spreadsheet.

Your Queries
If you have created and saved ad hoc queries in the data warehouse, they may need to change. For a mapping document of data and table changes, click here

During the Cutover Period
The cutover period will take one to two weeks. During that time, UM Reports, the data warehouse, and UM Analytics will be available with static data that was accurate as of the cutover date. Stay tuned for more information!

Sneak Peek: U Market Requisitions

For everyone who creates requisitions in EFS, here is a brief video that shows how processing of U Market orders will change after The Upgrade is complete. U Market itself will not be changing but the basic EFS requisition pages will look a bit different.
