The Upgrade and You: Supervisors

On April 20, 2015, the University will upgrade its PeopleSoft systems supporting HR, Finance, Students, and Faculty. Supervisors can get prepared by familiarizing themselves with the most significant changes to come:

    Start each day with MyU

    The updated MyU will be a new experience for managers on April 20. MyU will simplify supervisory tasks by bringing together tools and resources you need in a management role, all in one place: the manager's tab

  • no time reporting button

    Time & Absence

    On April 20, employees who use paper forms will begin using electronic time and absence reporting. Employees who do not submit time or absences on paper now, do not need to change. Supervisors will receive notifications on MyU to review and approve for their staff.

    Recruiting in the new system

    Recruiting will be more fully integrated and robust. A key change is that Recruiting will now rely more heavily on accurate and timely entry of Position data. Users will have access to a data dashboard and applicants will have greater search capabilities.
